Kingman Park-Rosedale Community Garden

The Kingman Park-Rosedale Community Garden was established in 2005 to provide the Kingman Park and Rosedale neighborhoods of Northeast Washington D.C. with a welcoming space for growing food and connecting with neighbors. The garden is located on a tract of land in an alleyway, at the rear of the 400 block of 20th St NE.  It is made up of 16 plots, each 16′x4′.  The Garden is sponsored by the Rosedale Citizen’s Alliance.

In 2008, the garden dramatically expanded its capacity with help from the Capitol Hill Community Foundation and Washington Parks and People. You can contact Mandie Yanasak at for more information.
