SEED Community Garden

SEED Community Garden is located  between 17th, 18th, E St. and D st. SE Washington D.C. in Ward 6. It consists of 44 raised beds of varying size and a large community space.

SEED has an elected President and several board positions who oversee the garden’s six volunteer committees. In addition to two annual work days, gardeners are expected to complete 8 hours of community service every growing season. Gardeners must keep plots free of weeds and to maintain the mulch pathways around their plots. Gardeners are required to use organic gardening methods.

For more information, please contact Evan McCarthy at president@seedgardendc.com or go to the garden. You can also check out SEED’s website.
