Waterside St. Community Garden
The Waterside Community Garden is a small garden at the corner of St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, on the Southwest Waterfront, located at 600 M St, SW. The garden is made up of 14 plots, varying in size. The gardeners pay the church for water and trash removal. The gardeners share a communal wheelbarrow and have a toolbox for shovels and rakes. There’s a fairly tall fence around the garden and the plots are separated by woodchip paths.
There is a waiting list and there is very little turnover. You can get more info from Camille Cook at ccooka611@aol.com
